David is the founding owner and leader of Solutions House. He oversees all functions of the business and leads all client service teams. He sets company direction and is the final point of responsibility for all client matters. He also serves as CFO for the company.

 

His client list includes AstraZeneca, Caterpillar, Corporate Executive Board, The Coca-Cola Company, Eli Lilly and Company, Limited Brands, Sam’s Club, Tech Data, The Zenith Insurance Company and Walmart.

 

Helping people develop their skills and helping employers develop their employees is the end result of all Solutions House engagements, from the smallest programs to programs used by millions of associates at Walmart and Sam’s Club. David’s goal of teaching business basics to as many people as possible also is evident in his highly successful Full Value and Full Throttle programs. He finds endless fascination in decoding the world of business and sharing these findings with as many people as possible.

 

David spent much of his early career in the personal financial planning and audit groups of KPMG and Deloitte, where he served in roles including Senior Manager. He also was a regular speaker on technical matters and taught classes for both organizations. His professional experience includes serving as a partner in a private equity firm that focused on the amusement industry and serving as Director - Product Development at Paradigm Learning.

 

David received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from Pace University. He earned Certified Public Accounting and Accredited Personal Financial Specialist licensure in New York.

 

He enjoys spending time with his wife and fellow employee Rona, and learning from his toddler son Jacob and infant daughter Lauren. He also enjoys cooking, cheering for the Tampa Bay Lightning, cycling and reading history books on his iPad.

 


 


Gary Hill

Gary has more than 35 years of experience in the field of ethics and compliance. He has primarily worked in technology, government contracting and retailing and has overseen global ethics and compliance programs with as many as 5,000 investigations per year.

He most recently was Vice President and Global Ethics Officer for Walmart Stores and also has served as Global Ethics Officer for the EDS Corporation. His vast experience includes building two world-class global ethics programs from the ground up.

He has been chairman of several ethics and compliance trade associations and has served on the Advisory Board of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and as a Fellow with the Ethics Resource Center (ERC). He is a frequent speaker at ethics and compliance conferences worldwide.

Gary earned a Master’s degree from Abilene Christian University and a finance degree from the University of North Texas.

 

 


 


Nancy Thomas-Moore

Nancy has more than 20 years of experience in corporate ethics and compliance.

 

Her professional experience includes overseeing the ethics and business conduct program at Weyerhaeuser Company, where her responsibilities included administration of the companywide Code of Ethics, management of a system to respond to allegations of violations of the Code of Ethics, provision of regular education on ethics and business conduct standards and regular auditing to assess the effectiveness of compliance with the Code of Ethics. Weyerhaeuser Company received the 1997 American Business Ethics Award and was recently listed as one of Ethisphere’s “World’s Most Ethical Companies.”

 

Nancy has served as both Vice-Chair and Chair of the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association (ECOA) Board of Directors. She is now an Emeritus member of the ECOA. She also has been an Ethics Resource Center Fellow, a member of the Conference Board’s Council on Global Business Conduct and a member of the Corporate Executive Board’s Compliance and Ethics Leadership Council. She was a founding member of the Northwest Ethics Network (NWEN).

 

She has presented at national ethics and compliance conferences and seminars and has been quoted in Federal Ethics Reportethikos, USA TodayThe New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.


Nancy earned a B.A. degree from Simpson College in San Francisco and an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. She has completed the ECOA’s Managing Ethics in Organizations course, the Advanced Leadership Workshop for Senior Level Ethics Officers and the ECOA Law School. She rounds out her expertise as a practicing ethics professional by having significant business experience in retail management and banking.

 


 

 

Julie Murray

Julie is an experienced ethics and compliance practitioner and academic. In addition to her work with Solutions House, she currently teaches graduate-level courses in Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Global Leadership and Ethics at John Brown University.

 

Her professional experience also includes a career with Walmart, where she designed the overall strategy of the Global Ethics Office. This included creating and implementing a cross-cultural communication and education program that reached more than 2 million employees worldwide. She also managed the analysis of the helpline and case management data as well as the quarterly report to the audit committee of the Board of Directors.



She has served as co-chair of the Retail and Consumer Products Industry Benchmarking Group of the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association and as a Fellow at the Ethics Resource Center. She has been a guest speaker for ethics and compliance organizations and events including the ECOA, The Conference Board and The Anti-Corruption Summit.



Julie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Science in Leadership and Ethics from John Brown University.

 


 

 

Charles Ruthford

Charles is nationally recognized in the ethics profession as a leader in measuring organizational culture, ethics education and ethics program development. His 22 years of management experience and 14 years of front-line leadership in engineering, manufacturing, information technology, sales and marketing, ethics and compliance, and leadership education give him a broad base and firm grasp of how leadership development, ethics and integrity programs and employee education work within organizations.

 

As an ethics and compliance officer with The Boeing Company, he chaired the Defense Industry Initiative on Business Conduct and Ethics (DII) Survey Team. He also was a member of the Ethics Resource Center Fellows Program, where he served as Program Vice-Chair and Chair of the Measurement Working Group. He currently is an Emeritus Fellow in the Program.

 

Charles’s career at Boeing also included managing executive and senior-level leadership development programs at Boeing Leadership Center, where he was responsible for the leadership, business, finance and strategy curricula. He retired from Boeing in March 2010.

 

Charles earned a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Washington and a M.S. in Management from the Stanford University Sloan Program.

 

 


 

 

Robin Stasiak

Robin is responsible for the day-to-day management of Solutions House’s custom development projects and a variety of other daily company operations.

 

In managing the company’s learning practice, she provides support in the design and development of various custom simulations and training programs. She works directly with Solutions House clients on project initiatives, from planning and kickoff all the way through to delivery and close out.

 

Prior to joining Solutions House, Robin spent more than 18 years in project management and related roles with AchieveGlobal, a $100M professional services firm operating in more than 50 countries.

 

She graduated from the Art Institute of Minnesota with a degree in fashion merchandising and has completed several Project Management Institute (PMI) classes online through George Washington School of Business.

 

Robin has been married to John for 26 years and has four children and three dogs. Her hobbies include reading, researching family history (genealogy), calligraphy, bonsai, creating living topiaries, growing orchids and cooking with her husband.

 

 


 

 

Leah Zissimopolus

Leah manages the development and deployment of Solutions House’s flagship Full Value program and is responsible for a variety of daily company operations. She also acts as a lead designer for client projects.

 

She uses her business experience and accounting knowledge to design many of the company’s finance-based simulations and training programs. In this role, she is an integral part of helping Solutions House develop innovative, interactive financial training that illuminates the key drivers of business.

 

Prior to joining Solutions House, Leah worked at a homeless shelter and at the United Way.

 

Leah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. Her greatest joy and sense of inspiration comes from following her spiritual practices. With this foundation, she does her best to be present for her husband, family, friends and colleagues. She also enjoys exercising, hiking and running.
